The Boys & Girls Clubs STEM Showcase is an exciting event that demonstrates the scientific talents of children from every site in the BGCNV Network. This fair provides an opportunity for children to explore their interests in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through interactive group projects, which are then placed on display for others to see and engage with.
At the STEM Fair, children will work together in teams to present their projects to a panel of judges. These projects can range from robotics and coding to environmental science and renewable energy. The fair is a great way for children to learn about different scientific disciplines and to develop their critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
The STEM Fair is an interactive experience that encourages children to ask questions, investigate and discover new things, and develop a passion for learning. Parents are invited to attend and witness their child’s creativity and knowledge in action. The STEM Fair is a wonderful opportunity for parents to get involved in their child’s education and to support their interests in science.
This is a new event offered by the Club and is still currently in development. If you are interested in working with your child or a group of club kids to create an exhibit for the Stem Showcase, please contact your sites Program Director to learn more or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
